NOTICE OF A PROPOSED VOLUNTARY CLEANUP PLAN UNDER THE ALABAMA LAND RECYCLING AND ECONOMIC REDEVELOPMENT ACT (ALRERA) FOR THE FORMER CALERA BAPTIST CHURCH PROPERTY LOCATED IN CALERA, ALABAMA.

 

S&ME Consulting LLC has completed Site Investigation activities under the VCP at the former Calera Baptist Church Property located at 8730 US Hwy 31, Calera, Shelby County, Alabama. Historically, the property was developed for institutional purposes as well as commercial/retail purposes.  Plans for the site include demolition of the existing buildings and development of a CVS Pharmacy on the site.  The Voluntary Cleanup Plan was approved by the Department on November 30, 2007. 

 

Copies of the Voluntary Cleanup Plan are available for public inspection through February 15, 2008 during normal business hours Monday through Friday, except legal holidays at the following locations:

Copies may be obtained by contacting Mr. Russell Kelly, ADEM, at the above address.  A nominal fee for copying and/or emailing will be charged.  Arrangements for copying should be made in advance.
