NOTICE OF A PROPOSED VOLUNTARY CLEANUP PLAN UNDER THE ALABAMA LAND RECYCLING AND ECONOMIC REDEVELOPMENT ACT (ALRERA) FOR THE FORMER GURNEY INDUSTRIES PROPERTY LOCATED IN PRATTVILLE, ALABAMA.

Pratt Mill Properties, LLC has completed a Voluntary Cleanup Plan for the former Gurney Industries Facility at 202 South Court Street, Prattville, Alabama. The facility was formerly a textile mill and a majority of the buildings were destroyed by fire in 2002. The Voluntary Cleanup Plan was approved by the Department on October 16, 2007.

Copies of the Voluntary Cleanup Plan are available for public inspection through February , 2008 during normal business hours Monday through Friday, except legal holidays at the following locations:

Copies may be obtained by contacting Mr. Russell Kelly, ADEM, at the above address. A nominal fee for copying and/or emailing will be charged. Arrangements for copying should be made in advance.

In order to affect final decisions, all comments must address issues that have an impact on the applicant’s ability to comply with applicable environmental laws, rules, and regulations. ADEM maintains a list of interested individuals who are mailed legal notices issued by the Department.
